![]() It's Sunday, March 16th. If you have been around Columbia for more than a hot second, you are well aware of the HUGE annual St.Pat's party in Five Points the Saturday of St. Patrick's. Just in case you need a reminder (click here) - you're welcome. Needless to say, around 40,000 people from all over make their way down to 5ptns to celebrate wearing their green and drinking some green adult beverage. It's a fun time and even though it's a crowd, you usually end up running into people you haven't seen for months/years. It was beautiful weather, sun out, and 70s - attributing to the 1st sunburn of the year. This morning is a different story. It's cold and rainy. A much needed day of rest for all the party go-ers to recoup. It's pleasantly quiet around town with the remnants of green slowly being washed away. I guess we have entered into Spring with a hot Summer soon to follow. To us Realtors, Spring brings us joy. We made it through this crazy, cold, snowy/icy Winter and the flowers will soon be in full bloom. A fresh reminder of the kick-off to "Real Estate Season". Like they say, Spring showers bring April flowers. Welcome to Columbia, Spring. You have been missed. -Pic above: My past client (turned awesome friend) skipping down the streets of Shandon in her green get-up on our way to 5ptns!
