House Warming Means More

Last night, I attended my clients house warming party in the Lake Katherine area of Columbia. I LOVE this area and I loved working with my client during her transaction. I always feel honored to get invited to client house warming parties. Why you might ask? It's just a party, right? Well, it is ALWAYS a party and last night wasn't any let down. 


I feel a sense of accomplishment and pride knowing they are celebrating this HUGE life event with all their closest friends/family and actually thought enough to extend an invitation to little ole me. It just makes my heart happy because lets be honest, real estate isn't rocket science and it isn't required we attend years on years of schooling to become a Realtor. Sometimes appreciation for our profession is taken for granted. A lot of our work to get a transaction closed is behind the scenes which a client never sees, so how could they know? So, when an invitation to the party comes, and you recognize that address, it goes a long way in my book. It's a further sign of appreciation and a reason to pop some bubbles! After all, as cliche as it might sound, I wouldn't be typing this if it wasn't for my clients. Thank you, folks!
